Learning Training & Teaching Activity
In 2023 the project team hosted an Erasmus+ student exchange in Vienna, bringing students of Gimnazija Skofja Loka (SLO) and Lightbox Academy (ESP) together with HTL Spengergasse (AT). They enjoyed a packed programme of learning activites and getting to know the city.

Welcoming @ HTL Spengergasse
Students from Slovenia & Spain received a warm welcome from their partners at HTL Spengergasse. Werner Pramel, head of the animation department, gave a full tour through the school.
After their visit at the HTL the exchange students and teachers participated in an escape room activity.

Classes & Co-production I
Students joined classes and together with the animation department in HTL Spengergasse, students participated in a co-production for the short film festival "Landjänger" and learned how to channel their inner creativity.
Afterwards the international Haydn Cinema was visited to watch the animation movie "Super Mario Bros. Movie".

Studio Visit "arx anima" & City Tour
The studio "arx anima" gave the exchange group insight into their daily work. They visited each department and held a press conference with the head of CGI for animation feature production. Highlight was a session in the MoCap studio as well as a hands on sculpting session, supervised by artists from the studio.
The studio tour was followed by a guided sightseeing tour through the city center and a visit of the "Mythos Mozart" exhibition.

The students again had classes and the co-production for "Landjäger" was finished on day four with guidance from teachers & colleagues. Team members of Lightbox Academy gave the participants and students of HTL Spengergasse insights into the animation industry.
The exchange week was wrapped up with a lovely dinner in a local Austrian restaurant to get a taste of Austria's culinary side.
